Questions

What Epicor shops ask us first.

What should an Epicor to HubSpot integration actually sync?+

At minimum: customers and contacts, parts and price lists, quotes, sales orders, shipments, and invoices. Most manufacturers also want open AR and order status visible on the HubSpot company record so reps stop emailing accounting.

Which system owns which data?+

Epicor stays the system of record for parts, pricing, orders, and invoices. HubSpot owns leads, deals, activity, and service tickets. We write the ownership map down before any data moves, field by field.

Do quotes start in HubSpot or in Epicor?+

It depends on how complex your configurations are. Simple quotes can start in HubSpot and push to Epicor as orders. Engineered or configured quotes usually start in Epicor and sync back to the HubSpot deal so the forecast stays honest.

Which Epicor versions do you work with?+

Epicor Kinetic (cloud and on-premise), older Epicor ERP 10 installs, and Prophet 21 for distributors. The approach changes with the version and how your instance is hosted.

How long does it take?+

Most Epicor and HubSpot connections run six to twelve weeks from blueprint to go-live, depending on the number of objects, companies, and custom fields involved.
